Barossa Village Inc relies very heavily upon the support of volunteers.
Volunteers play a significant role in supporting staff and clients.
If you have the following attributes, you have just what is needed to become a volunteer:
Friendly, caring and a good listener
Eager to learn and comfortable with older people
Respectful of differences between us all
Can be confidential and protect others' privacy
Ability to build on your own strengths
Please note that all Volunteers at Barossa Village Inc. are required by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to hold a current Police Check. Barossa Village Inc can assist you to obtain a police check.
If you have some time available (no matter how little) we'd love to have your assistance. Barossa Village always has opportunities open for volunteers, and greatly value their assistance in supporting us. There are a large variety of opportunities that are bound to appeal to you - whether assisting in a fundraising capacity, or being 'hands on' with our service.
Barossa Village is also supported by a committed group of volunteers known as Auxiliary members. These wonderful people volunteer their time to undertake fundraising as well as other activities to support the organisation.
New volunteers are always welcome.
